Guests are talking about Wyndham Garden Chinatown!

Stayed here for business in May 2022. I had heard great things about this hotel and one of the reasons why we stayed here was we heard it was clean. However our experience has been terrible and still ongoing. The staff was friendly and accommodating but the room itself was very disgusting and disappointing. This includes a broken toilet seat, curtains stained with white substance, pressure in sink was extremely too high and got water everywhere. Also a shower with no door to the shower so again, water absolutely everywhere. The alarm was also preset when we got into our room without knowing so we were frightened the next morning at 5/6am when it went off. We understand thigs happen and informed the manager of our experience. Sean said he would give us 30k points back in our account for our troubles.

2nd day today and we switched rooms because first one was too stuffy despite that we had 2 extra fans.. so we asked to change different room and they were able to accommodate us. I like the location as right in Chinatown! Tons of delicious goodness around us.

This is one of the cheaper hotels we could find in the area, and you definitely get what you pay for. The walls were a little thin (we could hear kids running around, people shouting in the halls, neighbors having a shower), the service was sparse (you have to request to have your room cleaned), and the room was in fine but not great condition (old carpet, no temperature control). Don't expect the luxury treatment here. But if you're looking for a place to crash in Chinatown it's cheap and serviceable, and the location is great.
