The location was very ...

The location was very convenient. It is a 2 minute walk from the Grand Avenue station (D). The lobby of the hotel is very underwhelming, but the front desk associate was nice and welcoming. The rooms are relatively small, but they are a decent size for up to two people. Overall, the room was clean and I had a decent view of the city. My only complaints were the size of the TV (19" I'm guessing) and the room could use some upgrading, but it was not terribly outdated.

Very good location and ...

Very good location and staff. Great view from the Upper floors. The building would do with some renovation but the rooms are spacious and the bathroom too.

Update: after 6 days ...

Update: after 6 days I received an e-mail from Guest service manager with a satisfying solution. I hope my feedback helps to upgrade the service. Overall I upgrade the experience to 4*. Experience: Great corner room, but such a bad service; we had a leaking window and a wet floor after the recent rain storm, can happen. I took care with a bunch of towels to absorb the water. After several attempts to call in help, I had to escalate it to management to get any response. On top of this they have rude staff too. Not what you would expect as american service standaard. Pending for response management, I will give you an update

I booked a twin ...

I booked a twin room (I was sharing with my daughter). The first night we stayed in a pretty disappointing room; twin single beds, on the seventh floor - the room was what I’d describe at tired looking or tatty, and very small. The next day I asked it they had any suitable alternatives and moved to room 310, much larger, twin double beds, and the decor was a considerably better. It cost an additional $20 per night, and was worth every cent. If you need twin beds, definitely opt for this room. The hotel staff were lovely. What the hotel lacks in terms of style, it more than makes up for with the excellent location.
