Guests are talking about Wyndham Garden Chinatown!

This is the 2nd Chinese New Year week my family stays here....we love it. The Front Desk Staff, Housekeeping, and Cafe crew are all wonderful and sweet and very helpful especially Steve and Pedro! The rooms are cozy and very very clean. The shower pressure is fantastic. We participate in several CNY events nearby and its a convenient location....also tons of great food nearby! My kids loved it...and even my LION loved it!!☺♥

I had a lovely stay, the front desk Claudia was so fun and nice. She helped me through the check in process, explained all the fees and was such a pleasure to interact with. The room was clean, and very comfortable. I really loved the water bottle and coffee provided. The plus was the free breakfast each morning. I will definitely be staying here again the next time I come to NYC.

The location of this hotel is great. We were walking distance from a lot of things. Checking in/out was a breeze. Zhane at the front desk was awesome! She was quick, efficient, and so helpful. Excellent customer service. My only complaint is our room keys would stop working all the time. We had to get it fixed like 5 times.

PROS: • The front desk staff is AWESOME. So friendly, so helpful. From my brief interactions with other staff, everyone was super-friendly. • For an NYC hotel, the rooms are actually pretty spacious, as is the bathroom. • The location is solid. It's noisy and bustling outside, but inside the hotel is quiet. CONS: • I read a few other reviews and was surprised to see that many people noted that the free breakfast was good. Maybe it was just an off weekend, or maybe because it was a holiday weekend, but I found the food to be inedible. The space itself is dark and broody--more like a nightclub than a breakfast place--and the food (especially the scrambled eggs) was just bad. I travel a lot, and this is by far the worst hotel breakfast I've ever had.
