Cons: Room booked and payed for 4, but when we came, only 2 beds were ready. No smoking hotel/room, but smoke coming from ventilation woke us up at night. Quite noisy location, but not far away from central Manhattan. Pros: Staff very willing and effective to help anytime with anything. Good breakfasts. Perfect ramen bar on the ground floor. Good relation quality/price. To be recommended, but with some reservations...

A nice hotel, good location near public transportation, very accommodating staff. Beware the extra daily fee that covers just a so-so breakfast and other amenities you're not likely to use. Also parking is much cheaper if arranged in advance at area garages.

Unser Zimmer war in Ordnung. Das Frühstück im Hotel kann man getrost weglassen, da es im Umfeld und fussläufig gerade in Soho sehr schöne und weitaus bessere Frühstücksmöglichkeiten gibt. Der Empfang war mit einer sehr netten Dame besetzt, die trotz ständig klingelndem Telefon nicht die Nerven verloren hat. Das Hotel bräuchte allerdings doch mal wieder mehr als nur einen neuen Anstrich. War aber für uns als Startpunkt für ein paar schöne Tage in NYC völlig ok.

Don't get me wrong. I love this place and stay here often but this trip the AC is closed in the winter (but no sign or notice tells you this so having the AC selected still emits only heat) so at 2am the room was 80 degrees hot w no way to cool it. I was told the next day to not turn it on but honestly if there was a sign it would have saved me a sleepless night.
