Guests are talking about Wyndham Garden Chinatown!

Really nice place, great location, friendly staff, but there are a few points of attention regarding the mattress hardness, waiting time at the breakfast buffet, and noise from the frosted glass partition in the bathroom of the hotel room, which allowed sounds to pass through clearly. 4/29/25 morning 9am, I had bathroom emergency and couldn’t access the bathroom. I very respectfully with a please and soft tone asked the front desk(chubby black hair fair skin with suit on), for the key to the bathroom and he told me there is no such thing as a key to the bathroom, that I can go to the park for it. I was obviously fretting and said it’s emergency and try to state if I can buy something, and he cut in and said, he am very busy and he can’t help me and ignored me. I won’t rate a low rating because of one bad egg out of huge batch but what can I do? It doesn’t matter if he knows me or not, even though my friends and I take turns coming here regularly. I am not sloppy and don’t look dirty at all and dressed appropriately with manners, I didn’t deserve to be treated that way. There is nothing open at this hour for a restroom. Clients feel bad and say “aww” as I embarrassingly and desperately walked out the door to find relief. I don’t need a response, but I just had to let to it that he is the first person in this hotel to lie about no bathroom availability, especially for a lady who is in desperate need of relief. I hope he gets his talk.

Friendly staff (kudos to Claudia), clean rooms, great location, and their breakfast bar is delicious. The rooftop bar has great drinks. Try the Irish lemonade and the aperol spritz! The location is spot on, and you will be safe!! We will be back for sure!!

Das Hotel Wyndham Garden Chinatown liegt sehr zentral in der Nähe von Little Italy und Chinatown, was die Lage besonders attraktiv macht. Die Zimmer waren größtenteils sauber, lediglich in 1-2 Ecken hätte etwas gründlicher geputzt werden können. Insgesamt war das Zimmer aber sehr angenehm. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist das Housekeeping – das Personal war äußerst freundlich und hat sehr gründlich gearbeitet. Man fühlte sich gut betreut und willkommen. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war in Ordnung und erfüllte alle grundlegenden Erwartungen. Auch das Badezimmer war in gutem Zustand. Leider war das Frühstück ein echter Minuspunkt. Es gab täglich dasselbe Angebot, was schnell eintönig wurde. Eine Auswahl an Käse, Wurst oder Marmelade fehlte komplett. Das Frühstück war insgesamt sehr einseitig und wenig abwechslungsreich. Für ein Hotel dieser Klasse enttäuschend. Der Frühstücksraum wirkte zudem etwas lieblos eingerichtet. Der Service dort war zwar höflich, konnte das magere Angebot aber nicht ausgleichen. Wer großen Wert auf ein gutes Frühstück legt, wird hier enttäuscht. Trotz dieses negativen Aspekts war der Aufenthalt insgesamt angenehm. Ich würde das Hotel aufgrund der Lage und des netten Personals wieder buchen – aber ohne Frühstück.
