A pleasant stay overall; ...

A pleasant stay overall; my sensitive nose noticed no weird odors and I slept well. The room was rather dark, even as a corner room facing southwest. Great views and nice balcony. The hotel takes a whopping THREE temporary deposits. Before checking in, there is a one-day deposit (deposit equal to one night's stay), which is refunded upon check-in. Then there is a $50 deposit that is refunded upon checkout. Then there is a third deposit equal to the value of total nights stayed, and that isn't refunded until a few days later. So if you stay and the bill comes to $1000, Wyndham charges $2000 to your card temporarily. The manager explained this to me, since there was no prior warning that it would happen. I was nearly stranded in New York.

Overall the location is good, however they charge resort fee and not much is offer.

It was in a ...

It was in a fine location. I went to this basement party there and it was too loud and dark. Yeah sure that might make me sound old but I'm just really not into that environment. It's a personal choice. Anyway it was fine I just wasn't really into it.
