In this evening exploring works for vibraphone, Anna Wray Espinosa will perform solo compositions by Roscoe Mitchell, JS Bach, and John Bergamo. She will also perform Pneuma by Daniel McKemie with Christopher Foss on bassoon. Accompanying this performance will be multimedia visuals by Crockett Doob.

Past/Present/Future Vibes will be presented virtually and available for free on a variety of streaming platforms. Roulette’s theater is currently closed for public performances as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic and the safety measures that Roulette has put in place to keep staff, artists, and the public safe.

Anna Wray Espinosa is an NYC percussionist, residing in Queens, NY. Her NYC credits include: Resist X Improvise (2018) at Roulette, dedicated to Black Lives Matter and performer/composer Roscoe Mitchell; Samara (2017) by Ricard Maxwell at Soho Rep, soundscape created by Steve Earle; and Songs About Trains (2018) with Radical Revolution, for the Rough Draft Festival at LaGuardia Performing Arts Center.
