MUSIC POETRY COMEDY SPOKEN WORD $10 cover  (online and at the door) $8 Early Bird Special ticket (up to one week prior to the event)***Limited Availability*** Full backline and keyboard ***** When: 1st Sunday of the month *****  Where: Funkadelic Studios (inside the Chinatex building) 5th floor 209 West 40th Street Manhattan, New York 10018 Doors open @ 1:30pm. Show starts promptly at 2pm.  25 slots, STRICT 6 minutes apiece for anything spoken, 7 minutes for singers/musicians (if you have backing tracks, please bring them on either mp3 player or smartphone). A warm, supportive community of artists. Real crowds. And a great place to network. This is a VERY popular open mic. We STRONGLY suggest you purchase a ticket in advance to guarantee a performance slot.
