Regeneration Revolution Climate Action Series - March 18, April 1, 15, 29

"The days of relying on conservation alone to save the natural world are over. The time has come for us to take up the challenge of regenerating the world's natural resources, reclaiming degraded ecosystems, and changing the narrative that the ecological world must be sacrificed to the economic world." ~ Jesse McDougall Join Landmark and Transition Town Port Washington for a moderated discussion led by Hildur Palsdottir. Then join the conversation for an audience Q&A. Our panelists: Marisa DeDominicis is the Executive Director and co-founder of Earth Matter NY Inc. where the mission is to reduce waste misdirected into the garbage stream by encouraging neighbor participation and leadership in composting. Marisa oversees the intensive on-farm composting training program that focuses on growing soil, education of volunteers and visitors, sale of herbs to island vendors, and donations of our fresh produce and eggs, to a local soup kitchen. https://earthmatter.org/ Jesse McDougall is a regenerative farmer at Studio Hill - a 4th-generation family farm and a Savory Institute Influencer Hub.
