Summertime Walking Tour of Historic New Bridge Landing

Join the Bergen County Historical Society's Past President and Museum Collection Chair Deborah Powell on Sunday July 25th 2 pm- 3:30 pm for a Summertime Walking Tour of Historic New Bridge Landing. Learn about the history of the three Jersey-Dutch sandstone houses on site. Explore the sites complex history beginning with the Native Americans, the history of the American Revolution at New Bridge, and hear the stories of the people who lived there and their livelihoods. The tour will begin at the meadow at the corner of Hackensack Ave and Main St. and will end at the historic 1752 Steuben House. The society asks that visitors who are not fully vaccinated to please continue wearing face masks and practice social distancing. Ticket reservations are required: $12 adults, $7 students, BCHS members free. Free parking available on site or take the train to "New Bridge Landing" on the Pascack Valley Line. Dogs are permitted on site on a leash but not in the houses.
